This particular bowl was made from downed sycamore tree that measured 32 feet long and 40 inches in diameter at its base, from the Shenandoah River at Morgan's Ford Bridge, Virginia. This bowl displays spectacular rose-colored Quarter-Sawn Grain. Read more about Sycamore in my Section Let's Talk Wood.
