This beautiful distinctively grained bowl was turned from Maple. Note the distinct delineation between the various grains displayed throughout this particular bowl. You can click on this link or on the Maple Bowl image above for a full-sized view. This Maple Bowl, from Front Royal, Virginia (at 6th and Virginia Avenue), came from a tree leaning on a house.
